What does tech for good look like around the world?

People all across the world are creating, building, or repurposing technology to help fix the problems they see in their communities, countries, and around the world.

Tech for good is all about using technology to make the world a better place. 

Here are a few inspiring examples:

ReciVeci: Easier recycling – Ecuador

ReciVec is a mobile app and volunteer initiative that helps people find local recyclers, contact them, and have their waste delivered or picked up. 

With more than 200 recyclers on their database, ReciVeci not only wants to promote better recycling practices, but also to improve the social and economic inclusion of waste and recycling workers in their community.

Majik Water: Clean, safe water for everyone – Kenya 

Majik water wants to create a new source of affordable and clean water for communities that have difficulty accessing enough safe drinking water.

They have developed solar powered devices that draw water from the air, and can act as a source of clean, safe water, with plans to scale up their devices, providing 100+ liter community devices.
